"Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
http://www.claretandhugh.info/sixty-percent-of-season-tickets-to-renew/

Over 31,000 West Ham season ticket holders have yet to renew at the London Stadium with just 35 days to go until the deadline.

West Ham claimed an 18% renewal rate on the first day of the renewal period in March and Claret and Hugh have been told that since then it has further increased to 40% renewal rate which accounts for over 20,800 of the 52,000 holders.

Current season ticket holders have until 5pm on Wednesday 31 May 2017 to renew their seats at which point their seat will be offered to another supporter on the 55,000 strong waiting list.

We have been told that the 31,000 seats which have not renewed already have been allocated to a name in the waiting list which will be offered out after the June relocation period has ended. The club insists that they will be no extension of the renewal deadline and supporters will lose their seat unless they renew before the end of the May.

'We have been told that the 31,000 seats which have not renewed already have been allocated to a name in the waiting list which will be offered out after the June relocation period has ended'

so if you were 1st on this imaginary waiting list, and got allocated against a seat that got renewed, but the 25,689th person got allocated against a ticket that didn't, they would get one and not the person 1st

I understand this is entirely hypothetical for a number of reasons

If they have allocated the 31,000 seats already, how does that leave those that have renewed and are looking to move! I call Bullshit

Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
I may renew, I may not, if I lose my seat then I lose it.
May just become a claret member and go to the odd game.
Too many fixture changes and shit football being played to waste my time on.

More interested in the lower leagues now.

Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
That's an semi-official 'hurry up and renew' message if I ever saw one!

I expect most will renew right close to the deadline. Why would you do it early unless you're going to try and get better seats for next season?

Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
With all the reports of people who have STs being told they are on the waiting list, I reckon what they have done there is basically allocate your seat to YOU so they can claim the demand is there and they're waiting for you renew.

Good work on pissing off your customers with a shit stadium BERKS so they're reluctant to go back. Wankers.

I don;t think they've actually allocated names to seats- it's more a 'warning that someone will be given your seat if you don't renew.'

I would guess existing STH get to change their seats if they want, then new applicants will be able to choose theirs afterward

We have agreed to renew when we know we won't be relegated. If we are, I think 3 of our 5 won't renew.

There will be I reckon.

Is C&H an agent for the club.

That last paragraph sounds like a pathetic threat. Idiots!

1964. It was actually written by Sean Whetstone. I should have included that. Though it's much of a muchness.

Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
Why would people renew well before the deadline unless they had good reason to do so.

I have just renewed.

Not so arsed about what happens on the pitch but can't do without the boozers and general food and beer debauchery of a match day.

Johnson 6:57 Wed Apr 26
Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
Why don't you do that without the football, Cambs? Not sure why or how not having a season ticket prevents that.

Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
Well, Johnson. There's food and beer debauchery and there's matchday food and beer debauchery!!

Plus I live in Cambridge so wouldn't make the effort to do the London pub circuit otherwise. Being a (no beard) real ale lover it makes for a good day out.

Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
So you're going to spend hundreds doing soemthing you're not that arsed about to enable you spend further hundreds on something you are arsed about.

Not sure I follow that logic.

Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
Looks like they better increase the size of the ticket office and the staff numbers inside to cope with the increase in people going up on the day to get a ticket.

Unfortunately with the shower of shit on display this season there is going to never be the level of commitment the owners want.

Re: "Sixty percent of season tickets to renew"
